same score tables as the source TRACKING.md.

Scoring model¶
This track uses milestone and feature scorecards.
Score guide:
100means complete, validated, and stable for current scope90-99means strong and working, but still carrying meaningful gaps75-89means materially working, but still missing important completeness50-74means real foundation exists, major parts are still absent- below
50means early, partial, or mostly planned
For this code-heavy track, 100 requires implementation plus validation evidence.

Current overall score¶
RapidDraft Studio overall score: 81 / 100
Supporting note:
Prototype-baseline posture remains stronger at roughly 92 / 100, but the fuller workstation
target is the better current lens for this track.
Milestone scorecard¶
| Milestone group | Score / 100 | Current state | What it helps achieve | Main remaining gap |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1-6. Workspace foundation | 97 | Strong and validated | Establishes shell, artifact registry, Codex sidecar, approvals, and evidence loop. | Mostly polish-only residual work. |
| 7-13. Engineering workspace depth | 90 | Working and validated | Brings STEP, DFM, backend, and viewer workflows into the product. | More natural prompting and quieter diagnostics are still needed. |
| 14-16. Drafting, planning, and report outputs | 86 | Working and validated | Extends the workspace into drafting-capable CAD review and sharable outputs. | Still needs richer planning/report integration and process depth. |
| 17. Vision and fusion review | 16 | Reference-only | Expands the app toward multimodal review depth. | No repo-local parity yet. |
| 18. Review-station collaboration | 20 | Reference-only | Adds continuity, tickets, replies, and checklist-driven review. | Collaboration objects are not yet present. |
| 19. Candidate remediation loop | 14 | Reference-only | Closes the loop from issue to bounded candidate fix. | No real candidate-session workflow exists yet. |
| 20. Drawing-analysis and DraftLint mode | 8 | Not started in this repo | Expands the desktop product beyond 3D and spreadsheets. | Entire lane is still missing here. |
| 21. Launcher and multi-mode workflow | 86 | Working and validated | Gives the product a clearer workstation identity. | Later stations still need deeper product behavior. |
| 22. Product-grade convergence and hardening | 74 | Working and validated, still converging | Makes the app feel commercially credible. | Remaining shell convergence and warning cleanup are still substantial. |
Feature scorecard¶
| Feature track | Score / 100 | What it helps achieve | Current note |
|---|---|---|---|
| Chat-first workspace UX | 90 | Makes the app read like a real chronological workspace. | Strong direction, with remaining utility-surface polish needed. |
| Artifact system and timeline orchestration | 96 | Keeps opened files stable, addressable, and inline. | Mature for the current prototype scope. |
| STEP and viewer workflow | 92 | Gives the workspace real CAD inspection behavior. | Strong, with richer anchor semantics still ahead. |
| CNC DFM workflow | 87 | Makes the product useful for engineering review. | Strong baseline with room for deeper rules and interpretation. |
| Approval and write safety | 92 | Prevents blind writes and keeps intent visible. | Core contract is solid. |
| Validation harness and evidence system | 95 | Keeps product trust grounded in evidence. | One of the strongest assets in the repo. |
| Launcher and modes | 82 | Clarifies entry points and product framing. | Real but not yet equally complete across all stations. |
| Frontend convergence | 74 | Determines whether the app feels product-grade. | Still the main active polish frontier. |
| Vision and fusion workflow | 15 | Adds multimodal review depth. | Still outside current local implementation. |
| Collaboration workflow | 20 | Adds traceable product-native review continuity. | Missing in the current app. |
Current headline assessment¶
RapidDraft Studio is already a serious local engineering workspace, not a mockup. The current score reflects that the core shell and validation loop are strong, but the full workstation vision still lacks several higher-order workflow families and the last layer of product-grade convergence.
Highest-value next actions¶
- Continue Milestone 22 with frontend convergence and quieter diagnostics.
- Keep milestones 17 through 20 explicitly parked until reactivated with clear scope.
- When the parked milestone group returns, restart with vision/fusion review before deeper collaboration or remediation loops.
