Status: Source register Validation status: Raw research and AI critique are orientation, not customer validation
Raw pivot research files live in docs_pivot/_sources/. The ChatGPT and Claude critique outputs are preserved under _sources/pivot_gpt_files/ and _sources/pivot_files_claude/.
Evidence Status Rule¶
Use these labels across the pivot wiki:
| Label | Meaning |

| Hypothesis | plausible but not customer-validated |
| Market reference | competitor, stack, or category context |
| Technical feasibility | implementation or detection realism |
| Product decision | current strategic choice, still revisable |
| Customer evidence | real user or buyer story |
| Experiment | planned or running validation step |
| Deprecated | no longer guiding the pivot |
Validated evidence must come from customer interviews, artifact examples, pilot results, buyer commitments, paid discovery, or customer-provided failure cases.
Do not treat AI-generated scenarios, founder intuition, competitor existence, broad market maps, or synthetic examples as validation.

Indexing Decision¶
The raw sources are preserved as source artifacts, but the wiki navigation points to this source register rather than listing each raw file in the sidebar. This keeps the section simple while preserving auditability.
Open Questions¶
- Should the PDF/DOCX duplicate pairs be converted into normalized Markdown extracts later?
- Should real discovery notes live here, in Network/GTM, or in the centralized project-management folder with a curated mirror here?
- Which source claims should be retired after customer discovery contradicts them?
- Which customer-discovery account should get the first artifact-backed demo after Volocopter, Bauer, Theegarten, Avilus, Rohde & Schwarz, and Deutsche Aircraft?
